Walker Bay Manor is a charming guest house that welcomes you in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The fifties mansion was renovated in 2015 and shines in new splendour. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the lovely garden and the sea, have a Rooibos tea at the cosy fireplace or join other guests for a chat by the pool.

All our guest house rooms have en-suite bathroom, of which one room is wheelchair friendly. The host Marijke speaks English, Deutsch, Schwiizerdütsch, Nederlands, un petit peu de Français and strives to make your stay a memorable experience.  Recently, Marijke has added 2 lovely rooms in the house next door, (10 metres across the road) which she rents out for her neighbours.

The guest house is situated only minutes away from the heart of Hermanus, directly opposite the Cliff Path which is famous for its spectacular views and onshore whale watching, and around the corner of the popular and beautiful 27-hole Hermanus Golf Club.  Some highlights in the area are bay cruises, coastal flights, guided abalone tours, mountain biking, hiking on 60 km of stunning trails in the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, paragliding, quad biking, scuba diving, snorkelling, shark cage diving, surfing, whale watching and zip lining, just to name a few.

Every first Friday of the month you can take a stroll along many art galleries and enjoy the astonishing range of art on this Artwalk. Saturday’s award winning Country Market is a must!
